Susie Lippert is a retired CPA, Commercial Property Developer and Software Consultant, happily married 38 years with 3 amazing kiddos from 28 to 33.
She was a child advocate volunteer for years, now volunteering with Camp Hope (KyMel), The Cochella Valley Homeless Shelter, and as a docent advocates for animals at The Kansas City Zoo and The Living Desert in Palm Springs.
Her mom was a a bi-polar rebel who married two abusers. Her dad, a thief spending most of Susie’s life in prison and her step-dad, a mean drunk. After 10 years of night school she finished her degree, the only way she knew how to rise above the life she grew up in.
Susie’s poems were published in “Kansas Speaks Out,” a book published in 2022 and in The Flapper Press. She is working on a suspense novel about a mom who loses her children, a memoir and a mystery series.
It is Susie’s dream for her poems and stories to be an inspiration to young people and child advocates.
